Invitation to attend
Many people restrict their lives in so many ways, without understanding how they are doing it or why. The Permission Wheel (the work of Gysa Jaoui) is a useful tool for self-reflection and also for sharing with others in a coaching or counselling role.
Transactional Analysis (TA) has many ways to explain how we keep ourselves stuck, or at least do not reach our full potential. One of those ways is the concept of injunctions - how we many years later, are still behaving according to the 'rules' our parents insisted on, and we complied with.
Luckily TA also has many ways of helping us to release ourselves from the spells that bind us - and The Permission Wheel is one of them.
Aims and intentions
This workshop will give participants an opportunity to explore The Permission Wheel, to understand how it supports autonomy and how it can be applied whether as a parent, teacher, trainer, coach, consultant or mentor.
The aims and intentions are:
All the workshops on the TA Practitioner programme are conducted online.
Participants receive a comprehensive workshop paper prior to the workshop, in order for them to read and reflect on the TA subjects which will be discussed online. This means that the brain is already making connections even before the workshop takes place!
The five hour workshops will then provide an opportunity for discussion of the theory, time to ask questions, make links, work on activities to stimulate thinking and to work out the ways in which to apply the learning to your professional practice, or your own personal development.
