Invitation to attend
As TA Practitioners we are always looking for ways to develop our skills when working with other people in order to aid their development.
Listening carefully (a vastly underrated skill), we can discern the clients main drivers through their speech patterns. Once this is checked out, we can then work out where the client invests their energy: feelings; behaviour; or thinking.
Each driver has a preferred open door - so this is where we start - the next element of this skill is to understand the pattern of next steps - which hopefully lead us to the development door (and not the trap door, where the client 'disappears' .....)
Aims and intentions
This workshop aims to introduce the skill of apply the Contact Doors theory, along the way we will also explore:
All the workshops on the TA Practitioner programme are conducted online.
Participants receive a comprehensive workshop paper prior to the workshop, in order for them to read and reflect on the TA subjects which will be discussed online. This means that the brain is already making connections even before the workshop takes place!
The five hour workshops will then provide an opportunity for discussion of the theory, time to ask questions, make links, work on activities to stimulate thinking and to work out the ways in which to apply the learning to your professional practice, or your own personal development.
