Lynda Tongue - Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst

Lynda has decades of experience as a coach, coach supervisor, trainer and learning and development consultant.
She works one to one and with groups, and launched TA Tribe in 2016 as a means of providing online learning in ways which are cost and time-effective, and make continuing professional development accessible for those with mobility issues or caring responsibilities.
Transactional analysis (TA) is the main approach which informs her thinking, and she reached the top level of qualification in TA in 2013 after many years of training and supervision. For more information on TA, click here. She works with multi-cultural groups of coaches, leaders, trainers, counsellors and consultants and shares her knowledge through her training and supervision consultancy.
Leadership is a passion, and she has worked with leaders since 1991 in organisations large and small, public and private. She is currently writing a book on TA and Leadership which will hopefully be published next year.
Lynda aims to support leaders and coaches by helping them to understand a psychological approach to behaviour. By recognising the impact they have on others, and by understanding how sometimes they get into "shoot yourself in the foot" territory - they can then make choices about their future direction.

Lynda works one to one with coaches, trainers and those in leadership positions to support them to gain insights into the impact of their communication style. Her positive intention is to encourage learning and growth and to enable the supervisee to identify their options. In the process, she uses her curiosity to seek out the underlying dynamics of the problem, using the presenting issue the supervisee brings to help them to surface what is in their unconscious.
Many supervisees report how powerful the process can be, and how much depth of understanding can be reached in a relatively short space of time.
Using the concepts of Transactional Analysis, she co-creates with her client a meta-perspective in a non-judgemental and educative way.
