Lynda Tongue - Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst

I ran my learning and development consultancy for 30 years, teaching primarily leadership and communication skills to managers and specialists across a wide range of organisations.

1998 I attended a two-day Introduction to Transactional Analysis (TA), where I immediately knew I had found my 'tribe', and also knew that teaching the concepts of TA to leaders in organisations would give me a powerful platform to reach many people who were struggling.  

I knew from my own experience of working with leaders, how many were stressed most of the time, that many more were frustrated because they could see themselves operating in repeating patterns of behaviour that were keeping them stuck.  Stuck psychologically, feeling doomed to never-ending frustrations ......

I qualified at the top level of Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst in 2013, having completed a rigorous, demanding and enlightening programme of self-discovery.  I had been teaching TA concepts in organisations since 2002, and continued teaching leaders until the pandemic hit.

​I had been conducting supervision sessions on Skype, and transferred to the Zoom platform in 2016 when I founded TA Tribe.  With the lockdowns, my online work increased and I have continued in this way ever since.

I now offer, as part of my mentoring service, a series of three hour tutorials which I tailor to the individual needs of the learner.

Whether you are a beginner in TA, or a coach who wishes to top up theory levels, or a contractual trainee who is looking for somewhere to practice analysing recordings I am able to work with you to help you succeed.
