What does it mean to be a professional Systemic TA Practitioner? What is Systemic TA?
In this workshop we explore the multi-dimensional work of practitioners who choose to practice in the organisational setting. Working with clients over time, TA consultants will find themselves working one to one as coaches, counsellors, mentors, assessors and also working with teams as educators, trainers, ethical advisers, mediators and teachers etc. Organisations are living systems, the parts make up the whole and the boundaries can be fluid or solid. Our work in one part of the organisation has a ripple effect, through the organisation as a whole and out into the community. We need to know how to work with the systems and also need to understand we are a part of the system, even if for a short time. |
In this workshop we look at the International TA Association's Code of Ethical Conduct as well as working out how to position our professional practice. We explore the notion that the practitioner is in the process - we do not 'do' TA theory to other people, we have an affect. Introducing the meta-level process - analysing minute by minute and what does 'walking the talk' really mean? |
