The Professional TA Practitioner
Courage: “… the physical, mental or moral strength to risk adverse or negative consequences in choosing a just and responsible course of action”
Leonard Campos (2012) What does it mean to be professional as a TA practitioner? In this workshop we look at the International TA Association's Code of Ethical Conduct as well as working out how to position our professional practice. We also take on board the fact that the practitioner is in the process - we do not 'do' TA theory to other people, we recognise that we are in the process too. Introducing the meta-level process - analysing minute by minute and what does 'walking the talk' really mean? TA provides a solid base from which the practitioner can work. Do you have confidence in your competence?
