Organisational Cultural Competence

Introduction

The tutorial titles are a guide - Lynda will ask you for your specific objectives.
Organisational culture is not a 'thing' - you can't put it in a bucket.  it is a felt sense, about the energy and approach of leadership and all team members.

Cultural competence is also about diversity, equality and awareness.  Respect for the views and frame of reference of others and a curiosity about what each individual brings to the table.

Possible objectives:
  • exploration of national cultural styles of management
  • Berne's ideas on organisational culture
  • The concepts of Corporate Parent and Hierarchical symbiosis
  • Five models of organisational culture
