Drivers and Working Styles

We have unconscious preferences which motivate us towards certain behaviours.

Most of the time we could call these our strengths - we focus on certain areas for instance paying hyper-attention to detail.  So if we are in a role where attention to detail is a big requirement - we fit in, we feel comfortable because we know this to be our strength.  However, if a crisis looms, or we are in a job where attention to detail is not an essential requirement - we feel out of place, not quite grounded.

In addition, another aspect of Drivers is that what is our strength most of the time, under stress can be overdone and then becomes a weakness.

I am a qualified Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst in the organisational context.  I teach systemic application of TA - a framework for enhancing communication and confidence!
