When we understand this process, we can choose to break out of such negative cycles. |

Many people suffer from an overwhelming crisis of confidence. We all doubt ourselves from time to time, worry that we have committed to something we feel we cannot deliver. Imposter Syndrome is at the chronic end of this spectrum, where sufferers undergo severe anxiety so much so that it cripples progress and causes damaging levels of stress.
This tutorial aims to explore this syndrome and identify ways to change our thinking and act differently. |
Human beings play mind games. We are not talking about deliberate goading or mischievousness - but the dynamics we can get into with others which are unconscious and which leave one or more of the parties with an 'ouch!' sensation or a sense of hurt or upset.
Many psychological games in organisations are laughed off as banter, just a joke - and indeed some first degree games are the sort of teasing that might make an individual feel 'one of the gang' - but there is a line. When that line is over-stepped, and maybe the joke has gone too far or one of the players is not feeling well or has a lot on their mind - then the instigator might be surprised to find themselves turned against, had the 'rug pulled out from underneath' them. This tutorial allows us to explore - can we avoid the invitations to games and positively affect our stress levels and sense of well-being? |

Human beings enter groups to get their psychological hungers met. However, in many cases the strategies used to make this come about are often flawed, they backfire and keep the individual stuck in a psychologically unhappy place.
Berne identified the stages of group development from the point of view of the psychological process of the individual. How we see ourselves in a group - are we at the centre, or do we attach ourselves to only a couple of other members? Or are we on the edge of the group, with one foot in and one foot out? How does this affect the success of the team? Let's explore! |

The Permission Wheel is a useful coaching tool originated by Gysa Jaoui and developed by Laurie Hawkes.
The Permission Wheel elegantly diagrams the main limits of a person's life script. It graphically shows how large or small one's permission or freedom in in various areas of living our lives. This tutorial is aimed at coaches, leaders, and anyone who is interested in understanding how they get in their own way. |
What does it mean to be a professional Systemic TA Practitioner? What is Systemic TA?
In this workshop we explore the multi-dimensional work of practitioners who choose to practice in the organisational setting. Working with clients over time, TA consultants will find themselves working one to one as coaches, counsellors, mentors, assessors and also working with teams as educators, trainers, ethical advisers, mediators and teachers etc. Introducing the meta-level process - analysing minute by minute and what does 'walking the talk' really mean? |
