DEEP DIVE TUTORIALS

Reflective Practice

Book your tutorial here

Introduction

The tutorial titles are a guide - Lynda will ask you for your specific objectives.  The TA topics are grouped here under different titles (check out other website pages) in order to offer a loose structure.
As professional Transactional Analysts, we continue to improve our skills of analysing in the moment, selecting from a range of options our next intervention in the conversation.

This skill needs to be practiced and recording yourself in a coaching or training context is an excellent way to develop.  Regularly listening to those recordings prompts reflective thinking to the extent that the 'in the moment thinking and choosing' becomes very much easier.
Some possible objectives
  • to explore the learning cycle and how we can sometimes get stuck
  • understand our preferred learning style and how to use it
  • discuss processes for self-analysis
  • introduce meta-level analysis using TA concepts
  • preparation and use of supervision
  • consider starting a Learning Journal
